Saideh’s approach to teaching music is compassionate and engaging. So much so that even my very sensitive and moody daughter enjoyed it a lot and wanted to enroll again the next semester. So when it was time for private piano lessons, I did not hesitate a second despite the fact that I have to drive quite a bit to get to her place. I chose Saideh not only because she connected with my daughter and made her feel comfortable and wanting to follow up with lessons (not an easy task!) but also because Saideh is a talented artist. Her passion for music is obvious and I feel that she is an inspirational role model for my daughter. Saideh understands her temperament and works with her accordingly encouraging her to be creative and bold. “Saideh has been teaching my daughter the violin for about 3 years. Not only is she a talented musician herself, she has such an easy going nature that my daughter really responds to. One of my favorite aspects of her teaching style is that during those times where my child has quirky observations about the music, Saideh validates those observations and channels it into the lesson (instead of dismissing them as many teachers might do). She also gives her students a certain amount of autonomy so that they can engage with learning their instrument.
